Welcome to our information and guidance service within the Academy. Our aim is to provide parents, carers and our students with independent, impartial advice to allow the young people in our care to make well informed, realistic decisions about the next stage in their education, training or employment that suit their needs and aspirations.

Parents, please see our CEIAG programme under the 'related documents' section at the bottom of this page

All students receive a statement of entitlement outlining the careers information and guidance through years 7 -11. To help support your child there are some simple and practical steps that you can take:

  • Talk to them about their current educational attainment and estimated grades and encourage them to aim high (the skills shortages of the future will be in higher level jobs)
  • Discuss where they want to be and research how to get there (lots of great resources in the Academy and on the internet)
  • Use the bespoke to contact the school for advice
  • Encourage them to seek out the advice and experiences they need to help them achieve their goals
  • Help them with the steps they need to take

Should you wish to make contact to discuss your childs career options please contact us on
