Mental Health and Internet Safety
We continually educate pupils on the importance of promoting positive mental health and teach them to be responsible citizens online throughout the school year. During Mental Health Awareness Week in particular, you will see extra activties take place in assemblies and across form time to help raise awareness of these important topics.
To help support what we do in school, we have provided useful documents and links that can help you have conversations with your child about their mental health, wellbeing and how they conduct themselves online.
We have several fully qualified mental health champions in school who are available to support students with mental health concerns. If you have concerns about your child and wish to seek support please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the academy and ask to speak to Ms Mitchell
If you are worried about online sexual abuse or the way someone has been communicating online. Please email email@example.com or call the academy and ask to speak to Ms Mitchell.
Alternatively support is available through CEOPS
If you are concerned about online bullying, or you are not ready to make a report to CEOP, you can talk to us at the academy through the normal channels. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the academy and ask to speak to Ms Mitchell.
